I never miss a chance to share a Coach Greg Popovich sound bite or funny interview because the man has a real understanding of comedic timing. He's a natural, and despite all the hooplah surrounding the game and Pop benching his starters, he stayed cooler than the other side of the pillow.
Last night during a quarter intermission in the contest between Pop's Spurs and the Miami Heat, Charles Barkley put on his sideline reporter hat in order to get a few words from the Spurs head man. The rest is sports history.
It shouldn't come as a surprise that Barkley didn't know the rules for the interview, but props to Pop for being on his toes!
Too bad Chuck wasn't able to ask Pop what he feels about that $250 thousand dollar fine he just got tagged with.
